The Graduate Program in Fisheries Resources and Aquaculture (PPG-RPAq) has a single area of concentration: Fisheries Resources and Aquaculture.
Research Lines:

Sustainable Aquaculture: Focuses on the development of farming systems that minimize environmental impacts while promoting resource efficiency and the economic and social sustainability of aquaculture.

Sustainable Fisheries: Aims to understand and improve fishing practices to ensure the conservation of fish stocks and the economic viability of the communities involved, integrating ecological, social, and economic aspects.

Aquatic Ecology: Studies the interactions between aquatic organisms and their environment, including aspects related to biodiversity, ecosystem functioning, and the impacts of anthropogenic activities.
